More windows:

Can't delete a file, something's using it. Apparently filedescriptors are tied to the dentries under windows, so one can't have a "temporary" or nameless file. Can't find out what's using it, no lsof, no fuser, no proc.

Also, which IS the root? My computer, or desktop? Sometimes one is under the other, sometimes the other way around, sometimes both? How the hell do filenames work on this system?

I'm going to take a break, this is not helping my stress level.
