Training after such a long break was at least as bad as I thought it would be. My fitness is zero. But I did still win all my fights, mostly through tactics and trying to exploit the opponent's weaknesses. *sigh* My right shoulder has joined my right thigh in pain (for other reasons) and wasn't moving fluidly enough for me to land any technical hits at all. I'm really glad I'm not in tomorrow's competition. Next competition is the London International on Saturday in South London, then Hereford a week later. After that, a month off. The way things are now, I will be relatively content with simply making the top 64 again, hopefully by a less spectacular route than last year.
I am not particularly happy with the world. This note is just so you don't think it was something you said or did. It wasn't. This is informational only; no correspondence will be entered into.
