Sir George Young, leader of the House of Commons has today followed Lord Brabazon's laughable idiocy by suggesting that there exists a more economical way to deal with mice than to keep a cat.

A hardy Lancastrian cat was recommended to him. John Bercow, bless him, also put down an MP for commenting on "what another member may or may not have been wearing around his neck".

Hansard isn't up yet, but I hope to get the exact texts when it is because it's all quite amusing.
