I think we should be able to vote a module OUT of CPAN, and I think it should be UNIVERSAL::require, which is a classic example of why a language should have ClassLoader-like namespaces as well as source namespaces. When something like this was done to DNS, we got delegation-only, so why should they do it to a programming language? I wouldn't even be using Perl if Google would only tell me what the equivalent of DBIx::Class::Schema::Loader in Java is. I certainly wouldn't be using Perl if this code was going to be executed more than once.
